This link will take you to an article from CNN that indicates that the Biden administration may shortly issue pardons for military members convicted of violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 125, Sodomy. Those convictions included harsh penalties and in many instances removed the opportunity for veterans convicted even of consensual sexual conduct from qualifying for veterans benefits, including medical care.
Of particular interest are the identified needs for legal support to go through the process for the veterans who may have suffered from this error of injustice.
